My imitation of famous artist's work

This is the product of my first few lessons in GAP class :D I was like to imitate a painting from Reminiscence. It was the first time that i had ever tried paints so i was really afraid of failing. It was still fine when i used pencil to draw the outline but when i needed to blend the colors ,it was really a big challenge for me. The paints dried quite fast so i needed to use new paints to mix to get  the same colour several times. Sadly ,it turned out that some parts of the hair does not have the same tint as others.

Moreover ,since it is really the biggest painting that i had ever done, i almost lost patience in drawing the hair,which really looked quite alike to me and i felt like repeating more times.

Although the final work did not quite resemble the original one, i managed to learn many new skills from the experience such as blending and i am sure that i do achieve some improvements in controlling brushes.
